Abby Lee Miller brings back the minis on "Dance Moms" season 6 episode 17. The episode titled "Mini Madness" airs on Apr. 26 and will feature ALDC's performances in Sheer Talent on Feb. 20.

It is now confirmed that celebrity dancer Maddie Ziegler is leaving at the end of the season, and Abby is preparing for her most popular student's departure. Aside from bringing back the minis to her LA studio, she is assigning Brynn to perform a dance similar to one of Maddie's old routines. Maddie and Brynn also go against each other at the weekly competition.

Brynn has been getting a lot of attention from Abby this season. Even before the Zieglers made known their leave, Brynn seems to have been the apple of the choreographer's eyes. The moms are getting fired up about the attention Brynn is getting. One of them points out that Brynn was dressed like Jojo previously and is asked to dance like Maddie. Abby seems to confirm suspicion when she tells Brynn in front of everyone, "It's time to pass this torch along."

In the trailer, the older group's moms do not hide their disappointment at the sight of the minis and their moms. In the background, Abby says "I have to think about my future," which indicates she is planning to spend more time with the younger dancers. The trailer also hints that haughty exchanges between moms from different groups are going to happen.

Creating tension among the dancers and their moms proves to be a bad move as the results from the competition show that only the minis' Hip Hop performance of "That's What My Mama Said" won 1st in the Small Wonders Division. The ALDC Elites performed a contemporary dance to the tune of "The Atlantic," which landed them 3rd in the Teen Division.

Bynn's solo is a contemporary lyrical number of "Broken Dancer" where she came 3rd in the Pre-Teen Division. Maddie's solo is a musical theater take on "The Entertainer" where it placed 4th in the Teen Division.
