'Dance Moms' Season 6 News: Maddie Ziegler may be about to leave the show to try new things

According to several reports, Lifetime's "Dance Moms" has already been renewed for a sixth season and is now currently filming. Despite the confirmation, an announcement for the upcoming premiere has yet to be made. Thankfully for fans of the reality series, some details about its return have since surfaced online and based on what has been made available a few faces might not be appearing on the show come season six.
In a report by International Business Times published a little more than a week ago, it was revealed that the Abby Lee Dance Company competed in the recent Sheer Talent Special Edition Competition in Glendale, California last Oct. 10. The group dominated the affair garnering the top spot for the group dance in the teen division.
Arguably Abby's favorite student, Maddie Ziegler, was scheduled to perform during the event. However, the young dancer failed to participate in the competition and according to the article, she has been busy shooting her role for the upcoming film, "The Book of Henry" alongside Naomi Watts.
Elsewhere, former ALDC member Chloe Lukasiak seems to be gearing up for a solo career with several project lined up. Previously the young reality star who was diagnosed with silent sinus system appeared on an episode of "The Doctors" to discuss her affliction. Her mother, Christi Lukasiak has since raved about her daughter's courage in opening up about her daughter's ailment in an interview with Seventeen Magazine as reported by the IB Times.
"I thought that it was amazing how when Chloe put that video out, not that she was just sharing a story, but more importantly how many people came back and said, 'This is my insecurity.' And how many people looked up to her and said, 'This is amazing that you're sharing it' because it was never intended to be that. I thought that it was really inspiring to see so many young women, and men, and even adults sharing their story because of her."
