Competition in "Dance Moms" has always been intense. This was clearly seen in the rivalry between Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak. The competition died down somewhat as Ziegler was noticeably absent last season. But with the dance prodigy reportedly headed back to "Dance Moms" in season six, will their rivalry heat up once more?

The rivalry between Ziegler and Lukasiak has been one of the defining stories of "Dance Moms" as the two talented dancers were often pitted against each other. The competition between the two are not limited to the show though, as fans of both talented young ladies still try to one-up each other in other areas as well.

Most recently, the news that Lukasiak has been cast in the indie film "Center Stage: Dance Camp" has caused Ziegler fans to compare it to their idol's upcoming role in the movie "The Book of Henry." According to "Realty Today," some fans have even gone so far as to poke fun at Lukasiak's much lower budgeted film.

It's inevitable that the two will keep going up against each other in other circles as well. "Enstarz" has an ongoing reader's choice homecoming court tournament whsere fans have nominated several popular personalities, the two "Dance Moms" stars included. Voting for the homecoming court is almost at the final stage and only four young ladies remain, Bailee Madison, Chloe Lukasiak, Maddie Zieglar and Perrie Edwards. Madison is up against Zieglar while Edwards is going head to head with Lukasiak. If Ziegler and Lukasiak win over their counterparts, they will be facing each other in the final round of voting.

Regardless of who will win, fans might see Ziegler on the small screen again in "Dance Moms" season six as she's reportedly coming back to the show. Admittedly, there's no indication that Sia's favorite dancer will be back as spoilers from the show stated that production has just wrapped up filming episode five and Ziegler still hasn't rejoined Abby Lee Miller's dance troupe. However, a recent Instagram post by the dance coach teases of Ziegler's return.

Fans are hoping that Ziegler will return as she is one of "Dance Moms" more popular stars. Unfortunately, it would appear that fans will have to wait for the series to return for a sixth season to see if their favorite dancer will return.
