'Deadpool' news: Will Wolverine show up in the movie?

(20th Century Fox/Deadpool Movie Official Facebook Page)"Deadpool" is set to hit cinemas on Feb. 12, 2016.

For the people who can't wait to watch "Deadpool," the end of the tunnel is almost near. Fans will finally get to see "Deadpool" and the rest of the mutants in the film on Feb. 12, 2016.

Recently, photos of the mutant, Colossus, have gone viral on the Internet. Surprisingly, it's the first time that Colossus will be depicted accurately, following what is described in the comic book series.

Hugh Jackman posted a photo on Twitter before Ryan Reynold's Christmas Eve "Deadpool" trailer. The Wolverine actor can be seen with his middle claw up, where a miniature Deadpool is sexily leaning. The post just further fueled rumors of Wolverine making a cameo apperance in the film. The rumor has not been confirmed, but fans continue to remain hopeful.

Deadpool has never failed to make the fans laugh. He is not the usual anti-hero that can be seen in Marvel comics. Many fans even consider him to be a hero instead of a bad guy. Before he became a mercenary, he was a Special Forces operative. Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, has a terminal illness and because of this, he decided to undergo special undergound mutant experiments. As a result, he got improved fighting skills and gained some special healing powers, just like Wolverine, but in exchange, he became disfigured.

The funny anti-hero will be seen in action with a few other Marvel mutants in "Deadpool." In the upcoming film, fans will be able to see Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel and the finally revealed Stefan Kapicic as the big metallic guy, Colossus.

"Deadpool" is scheduled for release on Feb. 12, 2016.
