Carmen's (Roselyn Sanchez) attempt to help Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) will put her in the middle of an ugly fight at the Powell household in the upcoming episode of "Devious Maids."

In the episode titled "I Saw the Shine," CarterMatt reports that the Latina maid will land in hot water when Adrian (Tom Irwin) discovers how she has been assisting his estranged wife sneak back into their mansion. Evelyn and Adrian are in the middle of a nasty divorce proceeding and both parties are on their toes. Her lawyer previously told her that it would be best to return to their big house in Beverly Hills so she could get a fatter settlement from her tight-fisted husband. Evelyn got Carmen to help her out, in exchange for something, of course, but Adrian quickly discovered their plan.

Last episode, Carmen looked especially pathetic when both the Powells were shown tugging at her arms. In the end, the maid will have to choose which side she is really on. Who will she pledge allegiance to? If she picks Evelyn, she can kiss her job goodbye since Adrian will not want a spy in his household.

Aside from the Powell problem, another headache that Carmen will have to face head on is Dani's (Sol Rodriguez) persistent questions about the identity of her father.

When Carmen called it quits with her last boyfriend, the barista felt it was fair to tell her daughter some information about the dad she never knew. Now that Dani is back in town, she will want to grill Carmen about what she heard. Will Carmen finally divulge the truth to Dani? Ever since the latter sought her out when she arrived in Los Angeles, she has shown interest in her true identity. Is it time for Carmen to tell her what happened back in the old days when she foolishly got pregnant?
