A fight between Future Trunks and Son Goku might ensue in the upcoming episode 49, titled "A Message from the Future! Goku Black Invades," of the hit anime series "Dragon Ball Super."

The preview trailer for episode 49 shows Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks witnessing the appearance of the Black Goku. Even though Future Trunks and Son Goku will have a fight between the two of them, a much bigger fight will happen between Black Goku and Goku.

All along, Goku thought that the future has already achieved peace. However, when Future Trunks returns, he learns that the future will be in danger because of the mysterious Black Goku who could be much stronger than him.

In other related news, the introduction of Black Goku has boosted the ratings of the anime. The previous episode, where Black Goku entered, became the series' most-watched episode with 8.4 TV ratings. The upcoming episode 49 is also expected to surpass last week's numbers.

Trunk's voice actor, Takeshi Kusao, has revealed a few hints about Black Goku. "You can feel in your bones just how evil Black is... it's incredible," he told Kanzenshuu. "From your very first look at him, he's just bad to the bone. I'll only say one thing about the end of the new chapter's first episode, but this should say it all: it's enough to make you go 'there's no way they can win.'"

According to reports, the king of the 12 universes, Omni King Zeno, can most likely kill Black Goku. The previous episode saw Beerus, Goku, and Vegeta talking about the Omni King and his power. Even though his body doesn't look like it could win any battle, he was able to destroy six universes when he got angry once so the likelihood of him defeating Black Goku is high.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 49 will air on Sunday, June 26, on Fuji TV.
