'Dragon Ball Super' episode 73, 74 spoilers: Filler episodes to air next; new arc to follow
A new arc will be introduced to hit anime "Dragon Ball Super," and it is expected to premiere in February of 2017. Before then, the series is slated to air a number of filler episodes.

Since the arc is expected to premiere in February, the show will focus on a different story until then. Reports say that in episode 73 of the anime, Gohan will be the highlight. His adventures will provide a decent laugh until the intense arc that's expected to premiere in in February.
In episode 73, Gohan will be taking a job as a stunt double for a film that's about a Saiyaman. His role in the film, however, will not be little for long. He will reportedly face a powerful martial artist named Mr. Satan, when the lead actor backs out of the scene.
Little is known about the following episode, but it will be titled "For the Sake of What He/She Loves." Gohan is still expected to be the lead character in episode 74.
The "Universal Survival Arc" will feature the multi-verse's toughest tournament, wherein only the crème of the crop can enter. According to reports, King Zeno will heed Goku's request for a tournament.
Although this hasn't been confirmed, reports say that the anime will be bringing forth a number of prominent characters. Although everyone's betting on Goku to win, a number of characters on the list of contenders seem potentially able to defeat the saiyan. Reports say that aside from Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Master Roshi, Android 17 and 18, Piccolo, Buu, Krilin, and Tien will be the contenders for Universe 7.
Previous episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" will air on Cartoon Network Adult Swim. The series will be dubbed for the English-speaking audience. And the episodes will air starting on Jan. 7 next year.
