'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: episode 14 sees conclusion of 'Battle of Gods'; Mr. Satan becomes Super Saiyan in the next episode, 'Satan, Cause a Miracle!'

The fight between Goku and Beerus finally came to a head in episode fourteen of "Dragon Ball Super." The episode saw the two powerful fighters battling it out in space and underwater before ending in what appears to be a draw. Intriguingly enough, the next episode appears to feature Mr. Satan powered up like a Super Saiyan.
"Dragon Ball Super's" latest episode, titled "Conclusion! The Battle of Gods," had Goku and Beerus, the God of Destruction, fighting in outer space before moving back to Earth and battling underwater. The intense battle then shifted back to space where the God managed to hit Goku.
The fight appeared to be over but as expected, Goku managed to summon the strength to transform into a Super Saiyan and unleashed a Kamehameha to neutralize Beerus' neutron bomb. The impact caused a ball of energy to head towards Earth, but the Earth-raised Saiyan was able to punch it away from the planet before he fell back.
Meanwhile, Beerus is still alive but exhausted to the point that he had to be helped by Whis. And like all of Goku's enemies, he also vowed to come back and destroy the planet; but he also revealed that he had enjoyed the fight.
The episode ended with Beerus on his way back to his planet and Goku eating his heart out at Bulma's birthday party.
The end of this particular story arc drew in mixed reactions from fans. The site "Attack of the Fanboy" reported that some fans were impressed that the episode was still able to bring in the excitement while others complained at how slow the series' pacing was. Fans commented that the "Battle of the Gods" movie just took about 90 minutes whereas "Dragon Ball Super" took all of 14 episodes to retell the story.
Now that that particular plot is over, fans can look forward to a different story line and hopefully, faster pacing.
A quick look at episode 15, "Satan, Cause a Miracle," shows Goku wanting to go away and train again but Chi-Chi doesn't want him to leave. The ever humorous Mr. Satan is then shown confronting a mysterious spaceship. A still from the episode shows the martial-artist rimmed in gold, like a Saiyan.
Fans will learn if Mr. Satan really did transform to a Super Saiyan or it's another one of his tricks on the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super," which will be aired on Oct. 18.
