The upcoming chapter 509 of "Fairy Tail" is expected to reveal that Larcade is not Zeref's son after all.

Fans know that Larcade is someone who possesses powerful magic. In fact, he's so powerful that even the mighty Zeref thinks of him as a weapon. However, according to reports, it may be revealed in the next chapter that Zeref is not Larcade's biological father.

There have been some fan speculations that Zeref cannot actually reproduce because he would just murder his partner. For this reason, it is believed that Larcade may have just been adopted or a son that Zeref conjured up through the use of magic. It is unknown if Larcade is aware of this, should it be true, but he will definitely be blindsided by the news.

However, it has been pointed out that Larcade and Zeref share a few similar qualities, such as their capacity for evil. Right now, everything is still up in the air, so fans should take this news with a grain of salt.

The previous chapter saw the extent of Larcade's power after he cast the "Pleasure" spell. This spell dealt out huge damages for everyone struck. The downside of the "Pleasure" spell, though, is that it just hits whoever is within the perimeter and can't discern friends from foes. This led to even some of the Spriggan 12 to be affected.

However, there were some who remained unfazed by Larcade's "Pleasure" spell. Wendy and Erza both seemed to be unaffected by it. Likewise, Kagura also seemed immune to the powerful spell cast by Larcade. 

It is believed that Kagura will be the next one to take on Larcade. And since Kagura is not affected by the spell, there is some talk of Larcade unleashing some other spell on his opponent. One thing is for sure: should Kagura and Larcade fight, the battle will be epic.
