The showdown of force between the mother and daughter will continue in the upcoming chapter 517 of "Fairy Tail" as it will feature Erza fighting the Irene-possessed body of Wendy. However, it is said that the upcoming chapter will also have Wendy snapping out of Irene's spell and making an ultimate sacrifice.

Things will continue to heat up in "Fairy Tail" chapter 517 after the current chapter 516 ends featuring Irene successfully possessing Wendy's body. According to the latest reports, after Irene realizes the nature of her enchantment magic, she will finally succeed transferring her soul to the body of another dragon slayer, Wendy in this case.

Reportedly, the upcoming chapter 517 of "Fairy Tail" will open with Wendy wearing Irene's clothes, a clear indication that Wendy's body is already under the control of Irene and that she has become Wendy Belserion.

Upon possessing Wendy's body, it is said that Irene will realize that the dragon slayer has sustained wounds from her previous fights. Nonetheless, this will not bother Erza's mother as she has full control of Wendy's body. Then, believing that Erza will not fight back as she doesn't want to hurt the possessed body of her friend, Irene is said to launch some offensives against her daughter.

After playing with Erza, Irene, allegedly, will decide to finish the fight by attempting to kill the daughter that she abandoned and never cared about. However, it is said that Wendy will regain her senses and will decide to stab herself before Irene can act on her plans.

However, the conclusion between the fight between the mother and daughter may also be the demise of Wendy as, according to spoiler reports, "Fairy Tail" 518 will feature her death, which will cause Erza's overflow of emotions that will result in the awakening of her dragon abilities.
