'Fairy Tail' chapters 522, 523 rumors: Zeref to end Gray with finality

(Comixology)Rumors claim that Zeref may finally kill Gray in the back-to-back chapters 522 and 523 of "Fairy Tail."

"Fairy Tail" will be releasing back-to-back chapters this week, and it is said that Zeref may finally kill Gray in the upcoming chapters.

If rumors are to be believed, avid fans of "Fairy Tail" may be treated to a back-to-back action on the pages of the manga as it is said that the upcoming chapters 522 and 523 of "Fairy Tail" will be released together.

However, what is further exciting is that it is alleged that the said chapters will feature two sets of battles: one involving Zeref and Gray, and another involving Gildarts and August. While both battles are expected to deliver action-packed entertainment, some are more interested in knowing whether Zeref will really kill Gray. After all, it is said that Zeref will not hold back as he deals with his brother's friend.

While it is alleged that Gray will be using his Trump Card in battling Zeref, it is said that it is not really an advantage on his part as it will mean using the Iced Shell as using the said magic will require him to sacrifice himself and die eventually. If this happens, it is said that Gray can no longer be resurrected unlike in several instances in the past.

Despite others believing that the upcoming chapters may finally feature the death of Gray, there are some who believe that it may not be the case. After all, it was only a few chapters ago when the manga featured the death of one of its characters, Irene.

On the other hand, there are those who suspect that Natsu may come to the rescue of his friend and prevent Zeref from killing him. If the current chapter of the manga is to be the basis, it can be said that it is not a far cry from happening as Natsu is seen heading to the guild.

Will the back-to-back chapters 522 and 523 of "Fairy Tail" kill Gray with finality? Is Natsu coming for his friend's rescue?

Find out when "Fairy Tail" chapters 522 and 523 arrives tomorrow, Feb. 19.
