More coupling and uncoupling have happened in season 3, and the next episode will show which of the recent pairings are "Faking It." In episode 9, Shane and Noah, Lauren and Liam, and Amy and Sabrina will either get closer to each other or fall apart in "Ex-posed."

Shane has confessed to Noah and it has been some time since he felt the way he does to Noah. Noah in return has admitted to reciprocating the feelings but is afraid that knowing his secret would lead to rejection. After sharing a passionate kiss, Noah tells Shane that he is actually born a female. Shane reassured him he'll be there for him, but would he still feel the same knowing Noah is a transgender? Furthermore, will he be able to keep his secret?

Lauren and Liam may not realize it yet but they seem to be acting on a mutual attraction while trying to make every gesture seem friendly. Will Lauren make the first move? Is Liam really into her? Or does he just like the company and comfort she readily gives during a trying time in his life?

Meanwhile, the original friends who were "Faking It" are caught in a triangle once again. Sabrina has mentioned she has a boyfriend, but her actions toward Amy are confusing. Despite sharing a passionate kiss, Karma remains suspicious of her real motives.

Karma will ask the help of Felix to plot against Sabrina. The trailer shows that she got Sabrina's phone and asks for it to be hacked. At a party, Sabrina's boyfriend arrives and asks her "so you're a lesbian now?"

Faced with her boyfriend and the girl whose attention she has been vying for since camping years, will Sabrina realize her true sexuality? Did she just want to break Karma and Amy's friendship all along? Is she really into Amy? Or has she been "Faking It" all along?
