Mods are already available for the PC and Xbox One platforms of "Fallout 4," and soon, PS4 owners may also be able to gain access to these interesting additions.

Back in May, Bethesda announced that the PS4 mods for the open world RPG are "still on track for next month," meaning they should be arriving this June.

Unfortunately, a specific release date for when they might arrive has yet to be provided, though with a bit of luck, new details about the PS4 mods will be shared soon.

While PS4 owners wait to find out exactly when they will be able to turn "Fallout 4's" wasteland into their own virtual playground, they can peruse some of the more popular mods that players on other platforms have been enjoying.

One popular mod, uploaded by "foreverasir," is "Spring in the Commonwealth," and as its name suggests, it allows players to see and enjoy a post-apocalyptic wasteland that is not quite so dreary. With this mod installed, players will be able to see a Commonwealth wasteland that's grassier than before, and there are also some flowers sprouting up in different locations just to make the new setting even more pleasant.

Another popular mod is one that allows players to craft as much they want, knowing that they won't be running out of materials anytime soon.

The "Unlimited Crafting Supplies Container" mod, uploaded by "modsmodsmods," provides "Fallout 4" players with a rock chest that holds an unlimited supply of building materials. The rock chest containing the supplies is situated in the back of a car that's just outside of Vault 111.

Other mods for the game add new hairstyles for players to choose from, while some introduce new weapons. Some mods can even be used to change the followers inside the game.

Hopefully, "Fallout 4" players who prefer the PS4 will be able to enjoy these mods themselves once the new features have been officially added.
