"Fallout 4" recently celebrated the first year of its release, and a couple of days before the 1-year anniversary, Bethesda released a new update for the game.

Update 1.8 has only been released for PC as it is still undergoing certification for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Bethesda has released the list of fixes and resolutions that update 1.8 has done.

The good news is that it seems that the Mod Support that PlayStation 4 players have been waiting for are included in the update 1.8 which Bethesda released, since in the Twitter announcement for the Mod Support release for PlayStation 4, the update 1.8 was the one linked by the game developer.

PlayStation 4 players of "Fallout 4" have been waiting for the Mod Support to be released for the game for quite some time now. PC mods were the first to be released by Bethesda, with the promise that the mods will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users.

Initially, Bethesda announced that Mod Support will be released around May for Xbox One users and June for PlayStation 4 users.

Xbox One Mod Support was released on schedule while PlayStation 4 players are still waiting for the Mods to be launched for their console. GottaBeMobile reported that the new update from Bethesda will finally allow PlayStation 4 users to modify their game.

The bad news is, it looks like Sony is limiting mod space for the players as it only has an approved 900 MB of space for use for the mods. Xbox One has a mod limit of 2 GB.

Bethesda announced that they are still trying to negotiate with Sony to increase the mod limit for PlayStation 4 users.

Aside from the lower mod space limit for PlayStation 4 users, it also seems like Sony is also the one setting the rules regarding the use of external assets for the "Fallout 4" mods.

Bethesda will announce the approval of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 certification for update 1.8 on their Twitter account.
