'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' game rumors: Getting to know the animatronic dubbed 'Ennard'

(Scottgames.com)Is the animatronic pictured above known as Ennard?

Not too long ago, fans were introduced to a new animatronic with a very unique and somewhat unsettling appearance via a teaser released for "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."

The animatronic looked different, possessing what appears to be only one eye and only half of a face. Even more curious was that this animatronic didn't actually seem to have a body. Instead, all that's there where the body should be is a bundle of wires knotted together with some loose strands even hanging around.

For those who may have missed seeing the teaser image earlier, the new animatronic can still be seen at the top of this article and over on the game's official web site, looking as disturbing as ever.

Fans have been captivated by the emergence of this new character, and since then, several theories have popped up trying to further flesh out the identity of this new animatronic.

First off, fans have been looking for a more official name for this new animatronic, and it seems one has been found.

Over on Reddit, user "magicraftcat" gave fans who were searching for more clues related to "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" something interesting to talk about. The Reddit user shared an image containing what appears to be some recently trademarked names that could be given to characters inside the upcoming game, and one in particular could be cruelly appropriate for the disembodied animatronic - Ennard.

As a play on the word "innard," Ennard can be a strangely fitting name for an animatronic that possesses no body and is instead mostly made up of tied-together wires as if mimicking what things might look like inside a person's body.

That's not all, as Ennard may have a special role inside the game.

The teaser image comes with the cryptic tagline reading "there's a little of me in every body," and fans have been trying to figure out what that means.

According to Design and Trend, the curious tag line combined with the appearance of the animatronic in the teaser image could mean that this particular character has been scraped for parts that have since been used to make the other creations.

In a separate Reddit post, user "Ender2_ComiX" posits that the animatronic in the image may be the one who was initially hit with a kind of virus that is then eventually passed on to the other characters, possibly meaning that Ennard could be one of the game's main antagonists.

For now, fans still don't know the exact story behind the animatronic possibly known as Ennard, though more details should be shared soon enough as "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is set to be released later this year.
