Rumors of a divorce started circulating when Tarek reportedly caught his wife sending inappropriate texts to her alleged boyfriend Gary Anderson. More recent reports, however, claim that the couple have decided to call off their divorce, but apparently not for their marriage. The couple's contractual obligations to HGTV have reportedly hindered the two from separating.

The network reportedly believes that both the 'Flip or Flop' stars are more profitable as a married couple. Reports say that the execs are trying to get them back together to save the show. Hence, Christina and Tarek are expected to act as a family until they finish their contractual obligations or the network will take them to court.

A source told InTouch Weekly about the alleged affair between Christina and Gary. According to the informant, Tarek noticed the closeness between the two, and he was getting suspicious but had no concrete evidence. This, however, changed in May, when he had the opportunity to scan through his wife's phone.

"Tarek saw Christina's phone and believed there was some inappropriate texting going on between [the two], "the unnamed source informed the news outlet.

But when asked to comment on the issue, the couple told InTouch Weekly, "Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was."

After the couple's separation was confirmed, Tarek was linked to the family nanny. Reports say that Tarek has been dating a nanny, one who was hired after he separated with Christina, "not the nanny they've had for years."

As previously mentioned, Christina and Tarek have denied the cheating rumors, but they have yet to address the divorce rumors.
