Fans of the sisters from the Kingdom of Arendelle can't wait to find out if Anna indeed has a power and if Rapunzel is related to one or both of them.

Even before production for the sequel was announced, speculations on what the storyline would be have circulated. One of the most intriguing possibilities pointed out springs from Rapunzel's brief appearance in the first movie.

In the said scene, Rapunzel is accompanied by her love interest Flynn Rider as they enter the kingdom when it was first opened to everyone. The pair crosses paths with Anna who went out the palace doors. It has been brought up many times as well that King Agnarr and Queen Iduna were on their way to attend Rapunzel's wedding when they were caught in a storm, which suggests the two Disney stories are preparing for a crossover.

In the movie "Tangled," Rapunzel was searching for her parents and some analysts say that she is actually Elsa and Anna's sister. The story arc will be tackled in the upcoming sequel, some say. Rumors have gone as far as saying Elsa and Rapunzel may be twins.

In "Tangled," Rapunzel was aged 18 and the events that occurred in "Frozen" are said to happen three years after where Elsa is aged 21. The powers the two possess have also been compared. Elsa has power over snow and ice, while Rapunzel's hair gives her the ability to heal and reverse aging.

The lack of similarity between Elsa and Anna has continually been pointed out saying that they may not be sisters after all. Anna's lack of special powers may also indicate that they are not related. However, there are talks saying that she does have power that will be revealed in "Frozen 2."

Some unconfirmed plots say that the sequel will be sort of a reverse of the first movie where Anna fears her newfound power leading her to distance herself and it will eventually be Elsa's love that will get her through.
