'Game of Thrones' season 7 cast news, updates: David Bradley reprises role as Walder Frey
In a few months, HBO will serve the penultimate season of "Game of Thrones." Since the show began filming for season 7, the world has paid close attention, hoping for spoilers to arise, given that the books will not be able to prepare its fans for what is to come. One of the surprising details for next season involves the return of Walder Frey (David Bradley).

In Bradley's official agency resume, "Game of Thrones" season 7 was listed under it. Bradley is a recurring character on the show. He appeared in seasons 1, 3, and 6, but what is interesting is that in the latest season, he was killed off by none other than Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), in the same manner he had killer her mother Lady Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley).
Bradley's Walder had been killed in the same location where Arya's brother, mother, and people were butchered by the treacherous Frey family, with the help of the Boltons in the famous "Red Wedding" episode. To enter the area undetected, Arya had disguised herself as a peasant girl, using her newly learned Faceless antics. She then killed Frey's sons, baked them in a pie, and served it to the patriarch before slitting his throat.
According to reports, Frey might not rise from the dead, like Jon Snow (Kit Harington), but Frey could be just one of the faces that Arya will impersonate. To note, Arya has picked up a few skills, and viewers might be seeing more of what she has learned in the episodes to come.
Prior to the recent listing of Bradley's projects, rumors have spread on Reddit, claiming that Walder will appear in one of Bran Stark's (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trips to the past. Another rumor suggests that the head of the Frey family might be featured in his own funeral.
Recently, Williams teased the finale of the upcoming season. "It's so exciting...it's just a great finale, it makes me excited for the series after," she revealed.
"Game of Thrones" season 7 returns on HBO this summer.
