'Gilmore Girls' spoilers: Is Dean still in love with Rory?

Dean (Jared Padalecki) will be back in Stars Hollow in the upcoming Netflix revival of "Gilmore Girls." Has he come to win back Rory's (Alexis Bledel) heart?
Fans of the popular series only have to wait several days until they see the continuation of the Gilmores' story. The four-part revival will be released on Nov. 25 and Netflix has begun teasing the viewers by releasing short promos.
The girls are back in Stars Hollow, a little older and hopefully wiser with their life choices. The old gang has returned, even Dean, who left town to pursue a different life. The trailer provides a brief glimpse of him standing at Doose's Market, the place where he first met Rory.
Dean was Rory's first love, the boy she was first attracted to as a teenager. Theirs was a youthful love story, sweet and difficult at times due to a lot of adjustments they had to make in their young lives. As per Bustle, Dean is Stars Hollow for Rory, a place that she is most comfortable with, a place called home. He is part of her past that she will not be able to forget. Although they have led different lives since they broke up, some of the fans still feel that they did not have closure. Dean's return, hopefully, will make that possible.
In the promo, Rory is shown at a crossroad. She seems lost after graduating from Yale and going after what she wants. It looks like she badly needs someone who will remind her of who she was at the start. Perhaps, a short catch-up with Dean is what she needs. He has always believed in her capabilities even when they were young. Amidst the changes that happened in her life, what Rory needs above all is a quiet time to reflect and decide the path she wants to take in the future.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will air Nov. 25 on Netflix.
