Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) brings out her dark side in the upcoming episode 7, titled "Girl Meets True Maya," of the third season of the American coming-of-age series "Girl Meets World."

In order to balance out the goodness that she has shown, Maya decides to do something bad. Why would Maya want to be someone she is not?

According to reports, Maya's change of behavior may be a result of her stubbornness to say no to what people want her to do. Since she had a hard time figuring out who she really is in the previous episode, this could be another way to learn what her true identity is.

As to the extent of showing her dark side, it is predicted that she will pull some intense joke that is no longer funny to others or do something very rebellious that she might regret after.

The promo trailer for "Girl Meets True Maya" shows Riley (Rowan Blanchard) looking excited that Maya's finally back, after her soul searching. However, her return looks like she is turning into a troublemaker. It looks like her pranks include setting off the fire alarm, stealing a hundred dollars, ditching class, and breaking a sculpture. Apparently, it looks like she wants to know what she is capable of.

Meanwhile, here is the rundown of the previous episode, titled "Girl Meets Upstate."

Maya and Riley traveled to upstate New York to get some advice from Uncle Shawn (Rider Strong). Maya revealed that she has lost her identity because of Riley's influence. Shawn then shared that the same thing also happened to him and Corey (Ben Savage) and he also wanted to reclaim his edgy side again. After Corey found out that the girls are at Shawn's, he went there and heard the girls' and Shawn's problems. Corey then reminded his best friend that he has that "reckless spontaneity" that he should be proud of.
