Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) seeks help to figure out her identity crisis in the upcoming episode 6, titled "Girl Meets Upstate," of the third season of the American coming-of-age series, "Girl Meets World."

Accompanied by the supportive BFF Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya travels upstate to search for her real artistic voice and figure out who she really is and wants to become. However, they will forget to tell Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) about their whereabouts.

The promo trailer for "Girl Meets Upstate" shows Maya and Riley travelling to upstate to ask for the help of Uncle Shawn (Rider Strong) in finding Maya's real self. Shawn boasts that he is the right person to seek for advice since when he was their age, he was the tough and edgy one. After the pep talk with Shawn, it looks like the girls will finally be able to find their creative identities.

In an exclusive sneak preview from BuzzFeed Entertainment, Cory reminds his old friend Shawn that when he wants to find himself, all he has to remember is his reckless spontaneity. Cory compliments Shawn of his natural reckless spontaneity; his personality to always live in the moment and never caring about what will happen or what people are going to say about him. Cory also enumerates the crazy things Shawn did when they were younger, which are also references from the original series "Boy Meets World."

According to E! News, Shawn's reunion with Cory and return to the show are not only the surprises for next episode. Shawn will also propose to Katy (Cheryl Texiera). The two have been in a relationship, a rocky one, for some time now, and, with the help of his best friend, Shawn finally asks Maya's mother if they can spend the rest of their lives together.
