Season 2 of "Girl Meets World" has one more episode to go but fans of Riley and Maya are already looking forward to the next season.

The next season, scheduled to premiere in spring, has also started shooting and some fan photos and videos have given away guest stars for season 3. Among those known to be guest stars, actor Uriah Shelton is making the loudest noise.

Shelton plays John, the young uncle of lead character Riley, whose best friend Maya, another lead character of the show, has a crush on.

One of season 2's highlights was the love triangle between Riley, Maya and their friend Lucas. Although Team Rucas, as fans call them, were the early pairs in the show, Maya's growing affections towards Lucas has also earned a following for Team Lucaya.

In the recent episodes, it became clear that Lucas' feelings for Riley are strong but Riley is trying to pretend she does not feel the same way, for Maya's sake. There have been rumors that a big fight will ensue between Rucas that would eventually lead to Lucaya's closeness.

However, these rumors have taken a step back at the confirmation of Uncle John's return in season 3. It is not clear yet whether or not he will be casted as a regular but his inclusion is enough for fans to speculate on the possible start of a Josh and Maya romance. When this happens, fans assume that Riley and Lucas will rekindle their romance in high school.

In the first season, Maya developed an instant crush on Josh, who felt that his niece's best friend is too young for him even if she is only three years his junior. However, in season 2, conversations between the two suggest that he is starting to see her in a different light.

The girl will meet a bigger world when the show returns. And young girls who see themselves and their peers in the lives of "Girl Meets World" characters can't wait to find out how they survive high school life.
