Tear-jerker "Grey's Anatomy" does not fail to infuse sufficient drama in each episode and is certainly not afraid to kill off characters. As Dr. Herman prepares for her big surgery, will we be saying goodbye to another character or will she survive?

In episode 13 named "Staring At The End", Amelia gives a lecture detailing the intricacies involved in Dr. Herman's surgery, reports Hollywood Hills. Following the lecture, the staff will be fascinated by Herman's case. Meanwhile, prior to the big day, Arizona and Herman will bond over the amount of surgeries that they will completing before Herman's surgery. While working on their cases, the pair bond. The life-altering surgery can forever change their paths. Bailey will take up the case of a pregnant woman that is close to her heart. It doesn't seem like she will be a relative of Bailey's, but could this pregnant woman be her friend or a former patient?

It is unclear whether actress Geena Davis' character will survive the surgery. However, viewers must keep in mind that she is a guest star on the show. "Grey's Anatomy" doesn't shy from killing off main cast members, so the fate of a guest star is even more precarious. Will Dr. Herman come out of the operation room tumor-free? Fans can only hope so, especially for Arizona's sake.

Additionally, TVLine reports that a new character called Jack Pruitt will make an appearance in upcoming episodes of the hit ABC medical drama. Towards the season's end viewers will see a handsome and tall police captain in his late thirties at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. What could this mysterious policeman want?

For now, fans should brace themselves as everyone prepares for Dr. Herman's big surgery on "Grey's Anatomy". Season 11 episode 13 airs on ABC on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.
