Season 11 of the long-running drama, 'Grey's Anatomy,' will premiere in a couple of months, and die-hard fans cannot wait what's in store for the Seattle Grace doctors and what will happen in their high-strung lives.

At the end of Season 10, fans and viewers saw the exit of Christina Yang (Sandra Oh), the introduction of Meredith's half-sister, Maggie, and Derek probably working miles away from Grey.

As for Season 11, Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes talked to TVLine and revealed that the next season will focus on Grey.

"Right now, if you were in the writers' room, you would probably tell me that the theme is 'Meredith.' Because all I keep saying is, 'The show is just about Meredith Grey!'" Rhimes  told to TVLine.

"It's a really Meredith-centric season. She's lost her 'person,' her [half-] sister has shown up, her husband is chafing to go someplace else," added the creator, showing a glimpse of the kinds of hurdles Grey will have to go through in the next season.

Not only does Meredith have to deal with the pressure of getting along with a half-sibling, she also has to deal with long distance relationships.

In the next season, Grey is expected to deal with the pressure and the sadness of having her husband move someplace else, as well as try to keep contact with her best friend who is currently working all around the globe.

Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy will premiere on September 25 on ABC.
