'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Woe to Wu in episode 18

Fans of the show have been anticipating a change in Wu since he was scratched by a werewolf in a previous episode. In "Grimm" season 5 episode 18, Wu becomes the subject of a Wesen attack and it remains to be seen if he turns into a werewolf to defend himself.
The next episode is titled "Bad to the Bone," which refers to the ability of the featured Wesen to suck the bones of its preys. The trailer shows the unnamed Wesen sticking his long tongue in a victim's mouth during the night. As Wu leads Nick and Hank to the crime scene where the dead body lies, he says, "I don't think there's a bone left inside this guy's body."
The suspect is also shown dragging an unconscious Wu and a worried Nick tells Hank, "I think he's got Wu." While the recent changes in Wu give fans of the show a reason to believe he will be capable of saving himself from the Wesen, viewers are anxious to know what awaits Wu as a werewolf.
Last week's episode shows he does not remember going out in the woods and his friends are not aware of the scratches from the encounter as well. Lycanthropes have been said to be uncontrollable and in werewolf form unable to recognize even the people they know.
Is his condition treatable? If not, will the team find a way to help Wu control his Wogue and what he does when he turns? The series has been renewed for another season, which is also speculated to be its last, and powerful upcoming episodes are a welcome treat to fans of the show.
Aside from Wu's fate, viewers are also looking forward to the development of the story among Nick, Adalind, Eve, and Renard. Two sets of love triangle seem to have formed between the four characters and fans cannot wait to find out who ends up together.
To find out, tune in to "Grimm" every Friday at 9 p.m. on NBC.
