'Grimm' season 5 updates, news: Bitsie Tulloch talks about Juliette's death and being resurrected as Eve; fans unhappy with new development

"Grimm" season 5 is off the air right now, leaving fans confused as to how Juliette is still alive and why she was wearing a wig in the midseason finale. Luckily, actress Bitsie Tulloch was more than willing to introduce her new character, Eve, to the fans.
Tulloch's character, Juliette, was seemingly killed by Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) in the season 4 finale. However, it looks like she wasn't dead after all as viewers caught a glimpse of her in the final seconds of the show's midseason finale.
In episode 6, "Wesen Nacht," Nick (David Giuntoli), Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Sgt. Wu (Reggie Lee) were trapped inside a warehouse after they walked into a trap set by the Black Claw. But just as they were surrounded, someone came and took care of all the Wesen. As Nick went out to investigate, he caught a glimpse of their "saviour," which seemed to be Juliette (or someone who looks like Juliette wearing a platinum wig).
However, what Nick apparently saw was not Juliette, but Eve--a Wesen working with Hadrian's Wall. Tulloch explained to TV Line that Eve might have Juliette's body, her DNA and her memories but "this is not Juliette."
Fans will apparently see the big difference between Nick's girlfriend and this menacing fighter that "Grimm" co-creator David Greenwalt has described as "a super Hexenbiest weapon for Hadrian's Wall to fight Black Claw."
For one, Eve has complete control of her hexenbiest powers, something that Juliette obviously struggled with. According to Tulloch, her new character is ruthless, emotionless to the point of being robotic and only focused on getting the job done.
The big question in a lot of fans' minds right now is how Nick and the rest of the group will handle this new development. Greenwalt admitted in a previous interview that Nick and Eve will have a big scene in episode 7, while Monroe and Capt. Renard's reactions will be very different.
However, not everyone is happy with this plot development. Some forums have lambasted the show for bringing the character back, while some sites, like Fashion & Style, have listed down the reasons why fans are disappointed with this new story arc.
."Grimm" will be back with a new episode on Jan. 29, 2016.
