'GTA 6' news: Developers focusing on 'GTA Online;' new Halloween DLC for 'GTA 5' and 'GTA Online' to introduce new modes and vehicles

There's no question that "Grand Theft Auto" is one of the games that have defined a generation. Despite the frustrations the wait for "GTA 6" has engendered in gamers, they're all still patiently waiting and exploring other ways to get their "GTA" fix, like playing it online. New DLCs also go a long way in keeping fans happy and occupied.
Fans have been waiting years for "GTA 6" to be released. Speculation has been rampant as to what year it will arrive and what kind of game it will be. It has been reported that one of the characters will be patterned after Ryan Gosling. It has even been said that the actor has already agreed to portray said character. There's even a rumor that "GTA 6"will be introducing a female protagonist.
While all these are very welcome additions, they are all unconfirmed. As a matter of fact, the only definitive thing that Rockstar Studios head Leslie Benzies said is that they have a lot of ideas for more than one game.
But as Benzies tells "Develop Online," they don't know what "GTA 6" will be but the focus is "GTA Online" at the moment.
While it's not "GTA 6," "GTA Online" is a welcome addition to the family as the open world online video game offered new challenges via cooperative or competitive matches. Unfortunately, the game's long loading time is quickly becoming a big irritant among gamers and one that they hope Rockstar will soon address.
According to "Christian Today," a Halloween DLC is also in the works for "GTA V" and "GTA Online." Gamers playing the game online will be introduced to a new mode called the "Slasher," which is exclusive to the season. In this new mode, players can become the bad guy, with the mission of hunting down those without weapons. The catch is it's a timed mission and failure to complete it on time will result in the other players being awarded weapons, like shotguns, which can be used against the Slasher.
"GTA V" players will notice that the game becomes literally darker as street lights are dimmer and there are fewer car lights in the Halloween DLC.
New cars, masks and car modding challenges will also be introduced, but players have to be ready to shell out some serious cash.
