'GTA 6' rumors: Game sequel to have VR feature?

(Facebook/Grand Theft Auto V)Rumors claim that "GTA 6" will be set in London and will come with a VR feature.

Although Rockstar has yet to announce "Grand Theft Auto 6" (GTA 6), rumors claiming that the alleged game sequel will come with a virtual reality (VR) feature are getting louder.

Despite the numerous rumors attached to "GTA 6," Rockstar has remained mum on the existence or plans for the game. Nonetheless, it can't be denied that "GTA 6" is one of the most rumor-magnet games.

Among the many rumors about "GTA 6," though, there is no denying that one of the most persistent is that the game will come with a VR feature. Should this really be the case, it won't really be surprising as, after all, the gaming industry is moving toward the VR era, which, as of this writing, is still in its infancy stage.

Apart from the rumors claiming that "GTA 6" will have a VR feature, it is also speculated that the game will leave the American soils as, allegedly, it will be set outside the U.S. Among the many possible settings for "GTA 6," though, one of the loudest names as far as its setting is concerned is London. While nothing is certain if "GTA 6" will, indeed, employ the said European city as its backdrop, many opine that it is a perfect choice — thanks to its blend of modern and classic architecture.

However, some believe that there can be a problem if "GTA 6" is really set in London. As police officers in London don't carry firearms with them except for a special "Armed Unit," which only responds to situations when their help is sought, some can't help but wonder how "GTA 6" will employ London police officers in the game.

It is not only the game's setting that is unclear, though, as reports on its release are also conflicting. While there are those that claim "GTA 6" will arrive in 2020, some sources say that it is likely to arrive in 2018. Apparently, without any official word from Rockstar, "GTA" fans will just have to deal with rumors for now.
