'Halo 5: Guardians' gets new Warzone multiplayer map, 'Raid on Apex 7'

Microsoft just recently released new content for the multiplayer Warzone mode in "Halo 5: Guardians" — a new Warzone map called the "Raid on Apex 7." The map was announced during the first day of the San Diego Comic-Con and it was soon billed as the biggest map in the gaming series.
There were already hints that Microsoft was planning to reveal new content for the game and when they did, they surprisingly used Mega Bloks to create a model of the "Raid on Apex 7" map.
The Warzone mode will feature a 12-player team take on another 12-member team. Maps in this mode are naturally large, but the "Raid on Apex 7" is the biggest one so far.
The "Raid on Apex 7" map was said to be modeled on "The Silent Cartographer" mission which was featured in "Halo: Combat Evolved." The map will give players the ability to attack and gain control of a Forerunner Spire, however, they will have to first clear out forces from the Covenant.
According to the description provided by Microsoft, here is how the new map will play, "Clearing out the initial Covenant threats and controlling the Forerunner Spire in the center of the island is paramount to a team's success and provides a central base of operations. If your team loses the Spire, don't despair; players can use a system of caves or taketo the beach to flank the base. Beware of the Covenant though, for they will not let you take this islandso easily. They will counterattack and fight to retake their territory. Continue the push for control of the island and take out the opposition's core... before you awaken something much worse."
All of the action in the game will take place on an island and players will be able to use the caves or the beach to gain control of the tower. But, it seems like players will be faced with something more challenging as there were hints that something worse than the Covenant is also present in the island.
Microsoft has a big presence at this year's Comic-Con and lucky attendees may be able to play the Warzone mode in the Xbox Lounge, which is located at the Manchester Hyatt, this week. Gamers could either try out the 90 odd gaming stations or indulge in the real life tournament inspired by the "Halo 5" game.
