'Hannibal' season 3 episode 2 spoilers: Will Graham is in Primavera to track down Hannibal

Hugh Dancy's Will Graham, the main protagonist of NBC's Hannibal, starts out his spine-tingling search for the defiant murder artist, Hannibal Lecter in the second episode of Hannibal Season 3.

The opening episode of Hannibal Season 3 titled "Antipasto," featured Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Du Maurier Bedelia (Gillian Anderson) posing as a married couple in Europe as part of their early disguise to get away from their murderous schemes. Hannibal now lives in Florence with Bedelia acting as his wife to start with a clean slate. He works as a literary curator in a museum.

In the upcoming episode, Graham surfaces once again after barely surviving the murderous tricks of his fiend. He flies to Italy to track down the cannibalistic murderer and arrives in Palermo to find a troubling present. Apparently, Hannibal expected his main adversary to find him, which is why he left clues about his whereabouts.

As promised by showrunner Bryan Fuller, he made sure that viewers are immersed to Hannibal's yearning for Graham. And just like in the two previous seasons, Hannibal considers his murderous schemes a game to be played and his murderous acts, his artistic masterpieces.

In Florence, Graham attracts the attention of a local inspector, Rinaldo Pazzi (Fortunato Cerlino), who had been in pursuit for a Florentine serial killer called "Il Mostro". After learning about Graham, Pazzi was made to believe that "Il Mostro" and Hannibal are one the same person. He convinces Graham to team up with him to find and catch Hannibal. However, Graham, becomes cautious of Pazzi and doubts his loyalty.

As shown in the sneak peek for the next epsiode, there will be more drama in the story as the protagonists embark on delving into the thrilling and gripping quest of capturing the murder artisan. The second episode airs on NBC on June 11, Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.
