Steve McGarrett finally got some closure on his issues with Doris and Catherine. Now it's Danno's turn to get some peace of mind regarding Grace's secret boyfriend.

No one's surprised that McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) has abandonment issues. After all, his mom disappeared when he was young and, later, his longtime girlfriend also bailed out on him. Luckily, the previous episode gave him a way to work things out so he can finally move on.

The episode, which was also "Hawaii Five-0's" 150th episode, saw Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) crashing McGarrett and his girlfriend's dinner to inform him that Doris McGarrett (Christine Lahti) has been taken captive by the CIA. While it was a major rescue mission, the payoff was really Doris giving her son access to her diary and McGarrett finally clearing the air with the erstwhile love of his life.

McRollins shippers were no doubt disappointed that the two didn't end up back together, but as O'Loughlin told TV Guide, the relationship just wasn't meant to be.

McGarrett might have finally have found peace when it comes to his relationship with Rollins, but Danno (Scott Caan) is still on the lookout for Grace's (Teilor Grubbs) secret boyfriend. However, the detective has a lot on his plate in episode 8. Not only is Danno chaperoning Grace's winter formal, but terrorists have chosen that time to seize the venue and take everyone hostage in a bid to kidnap a diplomat's son.

Meanwhile, a trailer for the upcoming episode, "Hana Komo Pae" or "Rite of Passage" in English, teases that it's going to be a memorable dance for Danno. The clip starts with the curmudgeonly detective calling Lou (Chi McBride), who's enjoying poker night with the guys, and telling him that their children are dating. It's such an amusing irony as Lou has previously asked his son for help in figuring out who Grace's boyfriend is. As the school dance is interrupted by the arrival of armed men, Danno is seen in the men's room with Lou's son. The young man even helps Danno take down one of the terrorists. But whether or not he'll see Grace's boyfriend in a positive light after that remains to be seen.

Episode 8 of "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 will be aired on Nov. 11 at 9 p.m.
