Rumors are going around that "Man of Steel" actor, Henry Cavill, is taking his relationship with mixed martial artist and actress Gina Carano to the next level by asking her hand for marriage.

Henry Cavill and Gina Carano started dating in the fall of 2012. According to reports and sources close to the couple, the possibility of getting married is just around the corner.

Though the couple briefly parted ways when Cavill dated Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco, Carano and the actor quickly reunited when Cavill's relationship with Cuoco did not last. A close friend of the couple revealed in an interview that since the two met, they were instantly attracted to each other, and this means that a marriage might not be a far cry.

"She says they have a good thing going!" revealed the source to US Magazine. Aside from these revelations, the pair recently adopted an Akita puppy together, meaning that their relationship is already rooted on long-term commitments.

Aside from her commitments to fight in UFC, Carano is also busy pursuing her movie career. Carano has appeared in movies such as "Fast and Furious 6" and "In The Blood." This career move makes her closer to what Cavill does, as he is also quite busy filming blockbusters. With this in mind, it won't be a surprise if Cavill pops the question to the athlete any time soon.
