"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and "Twilight" star Nikki Reed are engaged. Several reports had surfaced that Nikki was engaged after she sported a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand at the Golden Globes after party. She donned it on her left hand in order to keep it hush but shutterbugs still caught the glint on her left hand.

The 26-year-old star confirmed her engagement to her handsome boyfriend to US Magazine at the Third Annual Catdance Film Festival in Utah on Jan. 24, 2015. Reed was reported to be over the moon saying, "He's so beautiful inside and out!" The pretty brunette continued to praise her soon-to-be hubby saying, "He's quite possibly the most amazing man that's ever walked the planet, it's crazy. I'm so lucky, I love him."

Ian and Nikki share a passion for pets and animals as the pair own four dogs, three cats, and two horses. Ian has posted several pictures of him and his adorable group of adopted felines on his social media accounts. The couple have been dating for only six months before Ian quickly popped the question to a gushing Reed.

Recently several reports surfaced over the Internet that Nikki feared Ian may cheat on her with his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star and former girlfriend, Nina Dobrev. Reports went so far as to claim that Reed was stalking her and Ian on the sets of "The Vampire Diaries" by dropping by whenever she was free. Gossip Cop squashed such rumors, citing that there are no sources to back such claims. Additionally, the site claims that a source close to Reed rebuked such baseless rumors.

While Reed's love-life looks well, her professional life will also get a boost as her new movie "The Highway Is For Gamblers" will be releasing in 2015. This is Reed's second marriage since she was previously wed to Paul McDonald. This is Ian's first marriage.
