The possibility of All-Star forward Paul George remaining with the Indiana Pacers for the long-term or even his entire career may have hit an all-time low as the team is having a hard time winning.

Currently, the Pacers hold a 4-4 record and are dealing with difficulties trying to climb higher in the Eastern Conference standings. This is not what people expected from them, especially after adding prominent names during the off-season such as former All-Star point guard Jeff Teague, with veteran big men Thaddeus Young and Al Jefferson.

Recently, following a tough loss to the Charlotte Hornets, George expressed his frustration regarding the hardships they are undergoing.

"We're all out of whack. There's no trust, there's no chemistry, there's no belief. We're kind of just lifeless right now," George said according to the Indystar's report

This may just be a normal statement from a franchise star whose team is failing to live up to the expectations. But if the struggles linger for the Pacers as the season progresses, then George may soon want out.

Before the season, George and the Pacers were reportedly close to discussing a lucrative extension deal that will make him stay in Indiana for the years to come. That may have been placed on the back burner due to the present situation.

It's likely that if the Pacers opt to accomplish a trade deal in hopes of improving this season, George is the last guy they are placing on the market. They might have other assets to land a star or a quality player that will help them again be a threat in the East.

But still, there is also a chance that Indiana will take the risk and put George up for grabs.

For now, George and the Pacers will continue trying to improve their teamwork for them to get their winning ways back.
