iPad Mini 5 rumors: Suspected Apple device to arrive this March, will be known as iPad Mini Pro?

(Apple)Shown in the picture is the iPad Mini 4. It is rumored that the iPad Mini 5 will arrive this March and will be known as iPad Pro Mini.

As Apple is expected to come up with an event this March to launch its latest line of devices, it is suspected that it may just be a matter of days before the highly anticipated iPad Mini 5 makes its debut, and it may be assigned a new name.

According to the latest reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant is coming up with an event this March to launch its latest line of products, including the latest iPad Pro Line. With only a day left before March arrives, many Apple fans are now anticipating the arrival of the latest iPad Mini. After all, it has almost been two years since the current iPad Mini 4 was dropped in the market.

While it remains unclear whether Apple is really coming up with an event in March and launch the latest iPad Mini, rumors claiming that the alleged iPad Mini 5 will be known with a new name, iPad Mini Pro, have persisted. Allegedly, the higher-end level of the iPad line will now be absorbing the Mini variant.

Speculations on the iPad Mini 5 now being part of the iPad Pro series have been around for quite some time already. Allegedly, it is part of Apple's move to streamline its iPad products, much more that it is said that the sale of Apple's line of tablets is in a stagnant phase.

Meanwhile, sources claim that the iPad Mini 5 will have a relatively thinner design than its predecessor and will boast of a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen. Because of its alleged reduced thickness, it is also suspected to come with a battery smaller than that of the iPad Mini 4's 5,124mAh.

As Apple already ditched the 3.5-mm audio jack beginning with its iPhone 7, it is believed that other Apple devices will also follow. Hence, instead of the traditional jack port, the iPad Mini 5 may come with the USB-C port instead.

Is Apple really launching the iPad Mini 5 next month? Will it really be called the iPad Mini Pro?

Apple fans can only speculate for now.
