With the iPhone 6s becoming increasingly popular, it is time to look at the other devices that are capable of taking it on-- and the Moto X Style is one of them. Here is how the bigger flagship phablet from Motorola compares to the iPhone 6s.

Design

The iPhone lineup is widely acknowledged to have some of the best designs and it is all thanks to its aluminum body with it curved edges, which give the device a premium look and feel. The metal used is now stronger and prevents the device from bending and there is a fingerprint scanner incorporated into its home button. As for colors there are four options gold, silver, rose gold and gray. Coming to the Moto X Style, it does not have much metal on its body but its strength lies in its customization as customers can choose from different colored metal frames, metal accents, and back panels made from silicone wood and leather. However, it does not have a finger print scanner.

Display

There is a 5.7 inches IPS LCD screen on the Moto X Style and it has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 520 pixels per inch and it beats the IPS LCD screen on the iPhone 6s which measures 4.7 inches and has a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and density of 326 pixels per inch. However, only the iPhone 6s has 3D Touch technology which senses the amount of pressure being applied on the screen and gives users more options to control apps and content.

Specs

The iPhone 6s is faster and it has an Apple A9 chipset, coupled with a CPU with two cores clocked at 1.84 GHz and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU. As for the Moto X style it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, coupled with a hexa-core CPU with two Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44 GHz along with an Adreno 418 GPU.

Memory

The Moto X Style has a memory slot that allows for the addition of up to 128 GB of external memory and in terms of RAM it has 3 GB, as for the iPhone 6s it does not have a memory slot and has 2 GB RAM.

Camera

Comparing cameras, the Moto X Style has a 21 megapixel version with 4K video recording and the camera on the iPhone 6s has the same ability but it is a 12 megapixel version.

Price

The iPhone 6s is priced at $199 with a two year contract, while the Moto X Style Pure Edition has a price tag of $399 unlocked.
