LG Zero specs and release date: LG has made the all-metal, mid-range handset official; flagship to be available in Taiwan first

The South Korean-based manufacturer, LG, has recently unveiled their latest premium looking but mid-range class handset, dubbed as LG Zero. Furthermore, on top of the making the smartphone official, the company has also revealed that the device is going to be released in Taiwan first followed by other regions.

According to the report from Tech Radar, the all-metal handset, LG Zero, is now official and it will sport in an elegant looking metal body. However, the components of are actually on the mid-range class. As detailed by the source, the body of the new device was actually made from solid aluminum thus giving it a more fashionable style.

In terms of the phone's specifications, fans shouldn't expect to see elegant, under the hood details as the screen will only produce 720p of display quality on its 5-inch screen size with in-Cell Touch technology. LG claims that the newly added feature on the handset will deliver crisper images and a faster recognition, which is better and ideally used on outdoor settings.

Meanwhile, for the device's processor, GSM Arena did a full specs rundown for the phone and it is said there that it will run on Qualcomm's previous chipset, the Snapdragon 410, which is typically used on current mid-range handset.

Furthermore, LG Zero's CPU is going to be backed up by 1.5GB of RAM, which is quite unexpected considering that most of mid-range handsets today offer a 2GB of RAM. Moreover, the internal capacity of it is said to be at 16GB, which is the standard for mid-range handset but can be expanded via its MicroSD slot.

Lastly, the Zero flagship is also going to be equipped with a 13MP for its main (or rear) with autofocus feature and LED Flash as well as an 8MP front-facing snapper.

In terms of release date, the company has confirmed that it will be available in Taiwan first this week, as said on Tech Radar and will be followed by other regions like Asia, Europe and Latin America sometime in the coming future.
