Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum specs, news: Logitech updates impressive G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse with customizable RGB lighting

Logitech has recently introduced the G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse. Logitech's latest gaming mouse builds upon the technology of the G502 Proteus Core, the company's best selling gaming mouse. The G502 Proteus Spectrum comes has been equipped with additional features, including customizable RGB lighting.
"The G502 Proteus Spectrum has an amazing sensor, and now it's got customizable lighting as well. You can also sync it with your other RGB-enabled Logitech G gaming gear to create some really cool effects," said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of gaming at Logitech.
The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum features up to 16.8 million colors and brightness. Lighting effects can be customized using the Logitech Gaming Software. The gaming mouse can be set to certain lighting patterns or it can continuously go through the entire color spectrum. Users can also synchronize it to other compatible Logitech G products.
Like the Proteus Core gaming mouse, the G502 Proteus Spectrum features Logitech's most powerful and accurate PMW3366 optical sensor for optimal performance and tracking accuracy. It also features the Logitech G Delta Zero technology for reliable targeting. The gaming mouse comes with a massive DPI range of 200 to 12,000 with zero smoothing and zero pixel rounding. The Logitech gaming mouse can also be calibrated depending on a game's characteristics and demands.
For an enjoyable gaming experience, the G502 Proteus Spectrum comes with rubber grips and a convenient button layout. At the bottom of the mouse, there is a magnetic cover that gives access to five weights, each weighing 3.6 grams. The weights can be adjusted depending on the user's comfort levels.
There are also 11 programmable buttons that can be assigned to macros and commands. Individual left and right buttons also help deliver stable performance. The buttons also come with mechanical micro-switches underneath to ensure speed and accuracy. In the middle, there is a dual-mode hyper-fast scroll wheel.
The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum gaming mouse will go on sale sometime this month and will retail for $79.99.
