Logitech has announced the G810 Orion Spectrum – the company's newest full-sized mechanical gaming keyboard. The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum meets the needs of gamers and comes with features that help deliver the ultimate gaming experience.

"We met with dozens of gamers over the last year and a half and asked them what they wanted in a gaming keyboard. The result is the G810 Orion Spectrum, a clean, sophisticated design that's focused on delivering pure performance," said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of gaming at Logitech.

The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum has been crafted to feature a simple, clean and durable design. It has a fingerprint-masking matte texture and comes with a durable braided cable. Beyond its minimalist exteriors, the gaming keyboard has been precisely engineered with the most complex technologies including and ultra-fast mechanical switches and advanced RGB lighting.

The gaming keyboard comes with Logitech's exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches. The keys come with a 1.5 mm actuation point that allows for near-instant responsiveness, making it 25 percent faster than other mechanical keyboards. It is also very durable and can withstand up to 70 million keystrokes.

The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum also features advanced RGB lighting. With a spectrum of 16.8 million colors, each key can be personalized to have a unique color making it easier to keep track of specific game commands or actions.

Gamers will be able to customize the keyboard using the Logitech Gaming Software which comes pre-loaded with custom lighting for over 300 games. The keyboard is also backlit for an easier gaming experience especially under low light conditions.

The gaming keyboard also comes equipped with dedicated media buttons for controlling music and videos. Gamers can control media settings without having to leave their game. The roller will allow gamers to control the volume.

For more in-game customizations, the F1 to F12 keys can be customized to feature macros.

The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum gaming keyboard is now available for pre-order and will be available for purchase sometime this month for $159.
