"Longmire's" Netflix debut is drawing closer and production for the show's fourth season seems to be already underway, with the names of the confirmed cast members being slowly revealed.

Netflix's official press release for the upcoming season states: "Season four of Longmire picks up moments after season three's exciting finale. Walt Longmire, having found out who was behind the murder of his wife, succumbs to his darker impulses and takes off in pursuit of the killer with murder on his mind. Meanwhile, Branch Connally, the deputy who Walt fired for erratic, violent behavior, believes he has already figured out who the real culprit is. But during his confrontation with this suspected killer, a gun goes off. Now the audience will finally learn what happened, and whether Walt can be stopped before he makes a fatal choice."

According to TVLine, actress Ally Walker has been confirmed to appear in "Longmire" season four. Walker is known for her roles as Doctor Samantha Waters on the NBC crime drama series "Profiler," as Agent June Stahl on the FX drama series "Sons of Anarchy," and as Gloria Sheppard in the Lifetime drama series "The Protector". Unfortunately, no details have been announced about Walker's role in season four.

In a recent article, Ecumenical News had reported that both J. Michael Trautmann and Terry Camilieri had been confirmed for season four, based on pictures posted on Instagram. Trautmann had played a minor role in season two as Trey, while Camilieri's role is still unknown.

Derek Phillips, who portrayed Travis Murphy in season two, will be returning for season four as well, according to Christian Today. Phillips has confirmed his return via Twitter by posting a photo captioned "Travis is back on #longmire. About to go shoot a scene w/ @mamalou8 #FNL#FNLreunion#travismurphy."

"Longmire" is a crime drama series developed by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin for A&E, and is based on the "Walt Longmire Mysteries" series of novels by Craig Johnson. The series revolves around Walt Longmire, the long-time sheriff of Absaroka County in Wyoming who returns to duty following the death of his wife. "Longmire" was cancelled by A&E after the end of the show's third season, but was immediately picked up by Netflix, where it will premiere its fourth season this coming fall.
