Nothing is set in stone yet, but rumors heavily speculate that aside from the launching of the much-awaited iPhone 5SE in the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple will also lift up the lid off the newest Mac laptops including the MacBook Air 2016.

Before the WWDC event in June, here is a roundup of rumors and speculations on the MacBook Air 2016's specs.

According to reports, it is highly likely that the Air 2016 will sport the Intel's sixth generation Skylake processing chip. Paired with the OS X, the revolutionary Skylake chip could add to 20 percent of improved processing and 30 percent of battery efficiency. The chip is said to redefine the mobile and computing landscape.

As for the long-running rumor of an all-in-one connecting port, the Air 2016 will also have the USB-C port that could set the trend in other similar devices from other tech companies in 2016.

The MacBook has always been popular for its portable, light and smaller size. But several rumors suggest that this year will be the last for the 11-inch MacBooks. Apple is rumored to stick with the 15-inch screens.

In other related news, Apple is also planning on adding Siri to the OS X. According to 9to5Mac, Mac's soon-to-be-released operating system update, the OS X 10.12, will implement the Siri feature.

Since 2012, Apple had reportedly been testing Siri to the OS X. But this year, the tech giant is nearly ready to launch the feature on Macs, most likely in the annual WWDC this June.

Siri will be placed on the top right corner of the Menu Bar. If clicked, the feature's interface will pop up in the top right corner of the screen.

Siri will also be made accessible in its pane at the System Preferences, allowing users to enable the features via a keyboard shortcut.
