Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) will have a tough time pacifying the French in the upcoming episode of "Madam Secretary."

In the episode titled "The French Revolution," the synopsis (as per CarterMatt) reveals that France and the United States will be jointly hosting a state dinner. While everything appears to be in place, an unexpected setback will occur. A CIA operative will be apprehended by the French intelligence. Because of this, the event that has been planned so well may be jeopardized. While trying to arrange for the agent's release, Elizabeth must still keep track of what is being discussed in the state dinner. Will everything be all right in the end?

Meanwhile, Dalton's (Keith Carradine) campaign is not doing so good. It needs funding and it does not help that the president of the United States is not as popular as before. Russell (Željko Ivanek) will try to win back donors who previously promised they would help. It will not be an easy job, but someone has to do it. Dalton is running as an independent. If his party will not be able to find the required funds, he can kiss his aspirations of becoming president for a second time goodbye.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth and Henry (Tim Daly) will finally find the lead they are waiting for to identity who their family's stalker is. In the promo, Elizabeth is calmly entering her office when she notices something unsettling. Someone has come and vandalized her place. One of the pictures on her table has a big X sprayed on it with white paint. On the wall, the word "Quit" is written. Elizabeth tells her aide to go call the FBI immediately.

In the clip, the culprit appears to have broken into their house. The FBI is waiting for him. Elizabeth and Henry watches the live feed from somewhere and they finally see the face of their stalker. Later on, in a surprising turn of events, the couple asks the FBI to release the person. It looks like they know whoever it is personally, based on their expressions. Who could it be?

"Madam Secretary" season 3 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
