Mariah Carey news: Mocked by fans over vocals after 2014 'Elusive Chanteuse' tour in Tokyo

Singing legend, Mariah Carey, started her 2014 'Elusive Chanteuse' tour in Tokyo's Makuhari Messe on Saturday, where according to some of her fans she gave a less-than-satisfying performance after her vocals failed.
Time magazine reports that Carey, who is known for her wide vocal range and high notes, cracked her voice during her performance for the song 'Vision of Love.'
The tour was launched to support her latest record entitled 'Me. I Am Mariah ... The Elusive Chanteuse.'
Fans who attended the show used social media websites, Instagram and Twitter, to express their disappointment in Mariah's return.
"It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire. She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?" tweeted one Twitter user named 'Elle.'
"Y'all. Mariah Carey really can't sing anymore. That was hard to listen to," wrote another user named 'Peaches & Herb,' according to Daily Mail.
It was also reported that Carey struggled during other parts of the show because of the huge metal butterfly decal that was attached to her microphone.
A YouTube video of the said performance was uploaded by an attendee, with the title "Vision of Love?" to signal the confusion that they heard after Carey missed a note and cracked her voice onstage.
'Me. I Am Mariah ... The Elusive Chanteuse' sold a low 57,000 copies worldwide during its first week.
Fortunately for the superstar, the album gained several positive reviews from various music websites and publications.
