Marvel's 'Daredevil' Netflix series premiere, casting: First images of Matthew Murdoch surface

The recently-held New York Comic Con gave Marvel fans a first glimpse at the new 'Daredevil' Netflix series set to premiere in 2015, including a few actors from the casting.
Played by Boardwalk Empire actor, Charlie Cox, Matthew Murdock is seen in the photos wearing a grey suit and sporting red eyeglasses to mask his damaged eyes.
What Cox wears in the series as Daredevil's costume is different from what Ben Affleck wore in the 2003 film, and there's an explanation for it.
Marvel's 'Daredevil' Netflix series is based on Frank Miller's 'Daredevil: The Man Without Fear,' thus explaining the all-black costume that masks Daredevil's head.
The series is expected to run for 13 episodes starting next year, and will run alongside three other Marvel standalone series such as 'Iron Fist,' 'Jessica Jones' and 'Luke Cage.' This will result in a special miniseries which will be called 'The Defenders,' all series to premiere on Netflix.
Aside from Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson will also star on the Netflix series cast playing a nurse named Claire Temple, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Temple is described as an aid to the lead, and it wouldn't be unthinkable that Dawson ends up playing 'Night Nurse.'
Vincent D'Onofrio will play as the villain Wilson Fisk, or known to comic fans as 'Kingpin.' 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' star Eldon Henson won the role as Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock's best friend, while Hollywood newcomer Toby Moore will play Wesley, Kingpin's right hand man.
