'Mistresses' season 4 spoilers: April lies to Marc about Michael in episode 5

April (Rochelle Aytes) and rocker boyfriend Marc's (Rob Mayes) relationship is on the rocks in the upcoming episode of "Mistresses."
After the jealousy-fueled episode last week when Marc's ex-girlfriend (Hilty Bowen) entered the picture to cause problems for the couple, it is April's time to lie in "Lean In." According to CarterMatt, the businesswoman will tell her young lover that she got fired from her job, but the truth was she quit voluntarily. April's new client Michael (Ian Harvie) has worked up the courage to kiss her and she is not happy about it.
April's suspicions about Michael liking her will be confirmed when he suddenly starts pursuing her. To solve the problem, she will decide to quit but is having second thoughts about telling Marc the truth. April does not want to cause more problems. Later on, she may end up regretting that when she learns of Michael's secret. What can he be hiding from her?
Elsewhere, Karen (Yunjin Kim) is slowly getting angry with her agent. The other woman always rejects the pitches that she suggests for her new book. When an interview reportedly goes wrong, the angry Karen will decide to jump the gun but will end up regretting it.
Meanwhile, her relationship with former nanny Robert (Jerry O'Connell) is going okay. Fans have been enjoying their dynamics together. In a previous interview, O'Connell opened up about his character. He said he would probably not hire a "manny" for his children, especially someone like Robert.
"I'm not sure if given the chance to hire myself as a 'manny' in my family, I don't think I would allow that to happen. I'm sorry if that's closed-minded of me. I just wouldn't allow that — I wouldn't be comfortable with that. I would explain to my wife and to my children that I was not comfortable with a 'manny' around," he said.
"Mistresses" season 4 airs every Monday at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
