The upcoming episode of "Naruto Shippuden" will see the fight between Ashura and Indra. Episode 465, like previous episodes, will still be fillers, which may be disappointing to some fans. However, others are still excited to get to know more about the background of Ashura and Indra, and the fight that started it all.

Ashura and Indra are Hagoromo's sons. And although they are brothers, the two will fight each other after Ashura is chosen by their father as the family's true successor. The brothers, who are ancient ancestors of today's families, battled it out and it eventually carried on to the Senju and Uchiha clans.

Indra is older than Ashura, which is why being ignored by his father resulted in his bitter and jealous behavior. Hagoromo reportedly opted to bequeath the family rights to Ashura because of his peaceful mindset, as opposed to Indra's. The fight will surely be an epic one and reports have said that it will be somewhat comparable to Naruto and Sasuke's fight in the cannon. Indra is also responsible for altering Ninshu, as it was initially something that brought souls together. Hagoromo will reveal Indra's hand in the change of Ninshu.

The conflict will certainly be huge, and not one that can easily be resolved. Indra's jealousy will get the better of him and will only result in bloodshed. It has been said that both Ashura and Indra will die, as neither of them will survive the battle. Through the course of time, the brothers are reincarnated into present-day characters Naruto and Sasuke. Ashura's chakra will be re-embodied in Naruto and Indra's in Sasuke.

Although Ashura and Indra are names that have been mentioned numerous times, their personifications have not been realized until now. Fans are undoubtedly eager to find out how the battle will ensue and how this will affect Naruto and Sasuke's own plights.
