'NBA 2K17' roster updates: Who will complete the magic team?

(Facebook/NBA2K)Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant is featured on the cover of the "NBA 2K 2017" Legend Edition which will be released in September.

Video game publisher 2K Sports, a division of 2K Games, has announced that Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers will be added to the basketball simulation game and that another National Basketball Association (NBA) player will be added to complete the team.

Irving will be featured on the 18th installment of the NBA 2K franchise together with previously announced players, including Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls), Andrew Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Paul George (Indiana Pacers), Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder).

NBA 2K posted on Twitter, "Following a huge Game 3 Finals performance, @KyrieIrving is the latest reveal for #Team2K! Who's the last member?"

The company's Twitter account has already been flooded with comments on who will be the last player to complete the team.

Fans are speculating about the addition of Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors. From games 1 to 3, he has served as a strong power forward for his team. Green got suspended for game 5 after a squabble with Cleveland Cavaliers star player LeBron James, but he is expected to be back in game 6.

James is also a big possibility to become the last member to complete the team for the game. Other speculations are Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans, and Robert Sacre or Julius Randle from Los Angeles Lakers.

Many NBA players consider it an honor to be featured on the cover of the game by 2K Sports.

George, in an interview with USA Today, expressed his excitement and how honored he is to be one of the players featured.

George said, "I think for me personally I've always dreamed of being on the cover. I've always wanted this, so it's amplified to the highest power, in terms of it not being on a magazine or something like that. This is special. 2K only honors the best and puts one of the best on the cover."

The "NBA 2K 2017" will be released in September and will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4 (PS4), PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
