It has been a magical year for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors won a franchise record 67 wins in the NBA 2014-2015 regular season. Earlier today, Curry and the Warriors were recognized for their regular season brilliance with Curry being honored as 2014-2015 season's Most Valuable Player, edging out his closest competitors James Harden and LeBron James.

To commemorate the occasion, NBA 2K Sports has sent out a promotion that offers users the opportunity to earn a Pink Diamond version for Stephen Curry. As can be seen in this tweet by 2K Sports, users can enter a locker code posted in the image. The tweet reads as follows: "#PinkDiamondCurry locker codes for #NBA2K15 have arrived! Enter the code on the image to redeem the #MVP. Good luck!" Usets should note that they will not necessarily receive the special version upon entering the locker code, but will only have a chance to unlock it.

To coincide with the promotion, a Virtual Currency sale was also held as part of the celebration. As noted in its tweet by 2K Sports, "The #NBA2K15 "Steph Curry MVP 50% VC Sale" (PS4/PS3) is LIVE! #NBA2K15's Virtual Currency is 50% for one week! Take advantage!"

The promotion is still underway and users are advised to check out the tweet to access the locker codes as soon as possible and get a chance to win the prize.

While 2K Sports users are enjoying the promotion, Curry and the Warriors did not fare well against the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs and lost to the Grizzlies. The series now shifts to Memphis for Game Three as the Warriors attempt to regain control of the series.
