The much-awaited "NBA 2K16" was finally released last Sept. 29. Even though the latest installment in the "NBA 2K" franchise was released at the very end of September, it was actually the best-selling games of the month.

"Adjusting for days on the market, 'NBA 2k16' had the best launch month of all-time for any 'NBA 2K' title. In fact, for 8th generation software, 'NBA 2K16' had the best launch month ever for any Sports Game," said Liam Callahan, analyst from The NPD Group via GameSpot.

Just last Tuesday, 2K Sports released a Roster Update for the "NBA 2K16." The changes in attributes were made to reflect real stats and events in the NBA league.

According to Operation Sports, the following players had their attributes lowered:

• D'Angelo Russell, Kobe Bryant and Monta Ellis were lowered by [-2].
• Derrick Rose, Goran Dragic and Jared Dudley fell by [-1].
• Albert Brooks and Paul George were adjusted by [-0].

On the other hand, the following players received attribute boosts:

• Joffrey Lauvergne rises by [ 3].
• Rodney Hood, Garry Harris, Marcus Morris and Bradley Beal improved by [ 2].
• Nikola Mirotic, Kent Bazemore, Mo Williams, Julius Randle, George Hill and Andre Drummond rise by [ 1].
• DeMarcus Cousins was adjusted by [ 0].

Two players were also added to the Official Roster after recently having been signed by their respective teams.

Toney Douglas was signed by the New Orleans Pelicans and Chuck Hayes signed with the Houston Rockets.

The Official Roster Update also included adjustments to accessories, shoes, uniform team colors, starting lineups, injuries and transactions.

New VC Cheats were also released by Cheat Code Central.
