The newly released trailer for the upcoming game "NBA 2K17" is titled "NBA 2K17 Presents: #FRICTION" and it features the song "Friction" by Imagine Dragons. The video shows new players and new jerseys among others.

Among the players featured are cover athlete Paul George of the Indiana Pacers, D'Angelo Russell of Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant of Golden State Warriors, and Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City Thunder.

Retired player Kobe Bryant, who will be featured on the Legend Edition, was also featured largely on the minute-long trailer. Forbes notes that the trailer may have provided hints at what the Legend mode will be like.

The publication notes that the No. 8 jersey worn by Bryant in 2006 was shown without the face. The basketball superstar has worn No. 24 since and no other Los Angeles Lakers player has used the number. Bryant is also shown in his old look when he sported an afro hairstyle.

"NBA 2K17" will come in three editions: Standard, Legend Edition, and Legend Gold Edition. The Standard game will come with an early tip-off access starting Sept. 16, 5,000 VC, My Team Bundle, and two surprise items.

The Kobe Bryant Legend Edition will include early tip-off access, 30,000 VC, 2K Kobe XI shoes, My Team Legend Bundle, Kobe #8 Mitchell and Ness jersey, Kobe hoodie, and two more items. It will also include physical items such as 2 panini Kobe trading cards, Black Mamba controller skin, and Kobe poster.

The Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold will include all the items found on the Legend Edition with additional 70,000 VC, additional 2 packs in the MyTeam Gold Bundle, and all 24 pairs of the Nike Kobe shoe collection. A lenticular cover insert featuring Kobe is also included.

The game will be released for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 consoles in September. Pre-order is also accepted.
